• activities that encourage children to use handwriting in a realistic context.In WriteWell 6: First Joining children will learn how to join letters for the first time, starting with the most basic horizontal and diagonal joins. A separate accompanying teacher’s handbook, WriteWell Teacher’s Handbook, mirrors the structure of the pupil books and contains detailed teaching notes and photocopiable resources to help support the teaching of handwriting.
